Type: A telescoping brass high D model with brass head and black plastic fipple plug. When collapsed it measures about 6.25 inches.

Volume: On the louder side for a MackBeth, especially in the second octave which is strong and clear. It does not require fine-tuned airflow control like many quieter instruments. It has a slightly more breathy tone than most MackBeths.

Status: Sold in May 2025 to a (repeat!) buyer in Ontario, Canada.

Additional details: This whistle has a ring attached to the end piece to aid in collapsing/extension. Crossfingerings of OXXOOO and OXXXOX work best on this whistle.
